New to East River Park?

Getting to Know Us

Thanks so much for visiting our site!

Where should I start?

The easiest way to get started with us is to stop in on a Sunday morning. The details are below.

  • Staff: Meet the staff team click here.
  • Our Story: You might be interested in hearing a little about where we come from. Read more here.

When and Where do we meet?

Where?  East River Park has weekly church services at 1207 Broad Street, Elizabethton. (click here)

When? Our main worship service starts at 10:45 a.m.  You can show up “right on time” or feel free to come a little early and enjoy a free cup of coffee!

What should I wear?

That’s a common question for church. Feel free to dress comfortably. The guy preaching will probably be in kakis and a casual shirt. For other common questions click here

What will we do?

Our main session is the time of the week where we connect with God and with each other on Sunday mornings. If going to church is new for you, you should have a really easy time following along. We try to keep things engaging, understandable, and really applicable to every day life

What about my kids and teens?

We have plenty for your kids to do.  As you enter the lobby area from the front entrance you’ll see our “Kids Check-in station” straight ahead.  Here, our Children's Director will show you where your child’s classroom is located and inform you about our kids check-in/check-out process.

Each Sunday the kid's ministry hosts several engaging classes for birth-5th grade. Your kids will love it!  Students 6th grade and older should have no problem engaging in, understanding, and enjoying the same worship service that the adults are in. We do have ministry activities for older youth during the week.
